TRADITIONAL FERTILIZER PROGRAMS

Developed to make your green space even greener, Medina Landscape traditional fertilizer programs boost the health and vitality of your turf. Our conventional fertilizer is a slow-release product applied five times from early spring through summer to ensure that your lawn regularly receives the nutrients it needs. Your traditional fertilizer program may also include:

  1. Weed & moss control. Just as weeds can overtake your lawn, moss steals nutrients and smothers turf over time. Medina Landscape,  applies safe products that feed your lawn and prevent weed or moss infestation.

  2. Insect control. Turf-damaging insects can wreak havoc on the healthiest grass. At Medina Landscape, we take pest control seriously by identifying the offending insect and applying child- and pet-safe insect control products.

  3. Disease control. Turf disease spreads rapidly if it is not managed by a professional. Trust our team to treat and prevent lawn fungus and eradicate disease-causing organisms.

  4. Lime application. Most lawns grow best with a slightly acidic pH. Lime reduces soil acidity and supplies necessary calcium for optimal seed growth.

  5. Core aeration. Seasonal aeration prevents compacted soil, improves air exchange and drainage, and enhances grass rooting.

  • Slice seeding. When grass seed is broadcast over your lawn, it may be washed away or damaged before germinating. During slice seeding, grass seed is inserted into the soil to encourage seed-to-soil contact. This seeding method offers an improved chance of germination and can help revive struggling grass. If thatch has taken over your yard, the lawn may require power raking before slice seeding.

  • Lawn renovation. When turfgrass deteriorates due to drought, grub infestation or disease, Valley Green Landscaping improves grass condition using a variety of proven methods.
